Today we went to Edinburgh, for the first time. It was lovely. The first place we went to was the Scott Monument. It was wonderful, this structure has a total of 287 steps, and they became narrower as we went up higher. Finally at the topmost level, there was a lot of squishing to actually walk around. But it was fun, we took loads of pictures at every level.

The picture came a bit blurry because of inadequate light. It was extremely cloudy. Also, today was the UK Armed forces day, and we enjoyed the whole parade from the top of the monument. We clapped and cheered.
After this we, went down to the beach. Not many people were around, and I felt extremely nostalgic. We left very soon after.
We decided to do some shopping, but there weren't many choices as compared to Glasgow. I wanted to go to the Edinburgh Castle, but the entry was £14 and no students discount. Urgh.. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves a lot.

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] burnrequiem

1) List 15 characters you would shag without even asking questions
(2) Put all of them in order of your lust for them (1 is the hottest)
(3) Supply photos

(I haven't bothered about the order, though my number 1 is my hottest! The rest are placed randomly)

We made Sushi last night! We bought the rice and wasabi, along with seaweed, some prawns and bamboo shoots from the Chinese Supermarket. We already had salmon, soy sauce, vinegar and the rest. We looked up the recipe on the google, and we were on a roll, literally.

Unfortunately, even though it tasted yummy, it didn't look so good. Somehow we were unable to get the exact round shape, and our fillings in the sushis kept falling off. The later ones were pretty good though. But we made so much we ended up taking a plate each home.

Tonight we celebrated the Chinese New Year. We had dumplings, loads of them, opened packets of sweets. They were yummy. Happy Chinese New Year everyone.

Here are few pics of the sushis we made. Somehow their shapes were umm.. twisted, but it was our first time. Here are few of the pics:
