La femme Nikita thoughts
Feb. 16th, 2009 01:11 amI just love Operations. He's my third favorite character after Michael and Birkoff. He's an amazing, sly, manipulative genius with a God-Complex. Operations uses Section One as his own power base, gaining considerable control over dictators in many regions of the globe. Every plan, his every decision he made, his sights were five steps ahead. From the first episode till his death, he had an on-screen prescence like no other. I just love him!
The other character whom I love to death is Seymour Birkoff. I mean, who dosen't like Birkoff? He's such a sweet baby-faced computer genius. Not to mention the numerous times he stuck out his neck for Nikita. He's one of the very few who've kept their humanity intact. Then again, Birkoff barely knew the human life, as he was born and brought up inside the section. I could barely watch the AI episode...
The character I hate, and will always and forever hate, is Madeline. In my book, she is not a human being. A master manipulator, she knows the psyche of each Section operative inside and out, and can push the right buttons to get what she wants from each one each time. I've never seen two people more compatible to each other than Operations and Madeline.
I saw an interview of Peta Wilson and Roy Dupuis on YouTube, shot before the beginning of the fourth season. Something Peta said is still stuck in my head, "Audience never wants happy endings. They want me to cry, bleed my heart out, over and over again..."
