Snagged from the lovely
supernuthome
Hardback or paperback:
Paperback. Hardbacks are expensive snd clunky.
Borrow or buy:
Buy. I love smell of new paper booka.
Fantasy or Sci-Fi:
Fantasy. I find too much sci-fi very difficult to read.
Love-Triangle or love at first sight:
Both. Depends on the relationship. If first sight love works and ends up in something deeper, I would love to read. I love stories on arranged marriages.
Wall shelves or bookcases:
Wallshelves. I find them much neater and easier to arrange.
Bad plot with good characters or good plot with bad characters:
Definitely a good plot.
Harry Potter or Percy Jackson:
Harry Potter. I've seen the Percy Jackson movies, didn't find them too impressive.
Booklr or Bookstagram:
Neither. Haven't heard of them before today.
Contemporaries or Fantasy:
Both, depends on my mood.
English books or books in your native language:
English books. I can't read properly in my native language.
Buy in a bookshop or buy online:
Book shop. Love the feel and ambience.
Amazon or Book Depository:
Neither
Buy because of the cover or because of the description:
A beautiful cover always sparks a vivid imagination. Summary is very much important. Without summary, I won't know what I'm getting.
Alphabetical shelves or color coordinated:
Mix snd match. Though I prefer a series to belong together.
Different sized books or matching sizes:
Neither :) No preference as long as labels are visible.
Wait to marathon a series or read as they’re released:
Books release quite slowly. No point in a marathon.
Movie or TV adaptations:
Both. I loved TV adaptation of the sc-fi show Expanse. Haven't seen a show so well made and so accurate especially where science is concerned. And Game of Thrones is awesome!! On Movie adaptations I loved the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter sagas. Hunger Games was pretty good too. There's good and bad in both sections. Eragon was one where I loved the books, but they ruined the movie.
Reading indoors or outdoors:
Both, depending on weather.
Coffee or Tea:
strong black coffee or expresso
Bookmarks or random objects to mark your page:
Dog earing, and try to fold it right where I've stopped reading :)
Dog-earing or bookmarks:
Dog earing, I keep loosing bookmarks.
Be your favourite character or be their best friend:
Hermione Granger or her friend would be so cool!!
Physical or e-book:
Physical book :) I love the smell of new books, ear marking them, and all sorts.
Read in bed or on a chair:
Bed.
Audio book or e-book:
If I had to choose, e-book definitely.
Series or stand-alones:
Both. Series if sci-fi.
Reading in the winter or reading in the summer:
On winter it is under a blanket or a cosy living room, in summer would be under the bright blue sun on a green field.
