It's been quite a while since I had updated. Mostly because it has been very quiet. Last two weekends we stayed in at home, due to bad weather and a few commitments. We were planning to maybe go this week somewhere, but boyfrriend hurt his shoulder/neck and is on bedrest for now.

Do you guys ever go out to eat alone? When I was single, I used to love to go to nearby cafes and maybe read a good book, with an unlimited supply of coffee. I've stopped doing that when I started going out with my boyfriend, and when we moved in together. But ever since I've started working in Edinburgh, I've enjoyed tit bits by myself here and there. My favourite is an Italian lunch place which makes gourmet pizzas. I had gone for chicken wings, chicken and rice soup and a small pepperoni pizza.

Edinburgh is full of legends and stories. Wandering around the city, one such story I found was Greyfriar's Bobby. It recounts the Victorian tale of a Scottish Terrier dog, who spent 14 years by his master's grave after he passed away. Quite a number of films have been based upon him. There are quite a few pubs and places around that mentions of the legend.

I can't handle going out to eat by myself. Usually, someone will start talking to me and that's not what I want. I'm friendly and all that, but it's always men, which makes me uncomfortable.

Gah, that looks awesome! And love the little tale about the dog - sort of like Hachiko :D It is hard to go out to eat on my own. I don't do it often, but it's nice when I can get up the courage!

Hachiko is quite a famous Akita inu :) I read about him in school :)

I ll try and visit the statue if Im in Tokyo :) we have one of bobby in Edinburgh, and tourists keep touching its nose for good luck :) Now it has a shiny golden nose while rest of the statue is black :)

Greyfriars Bobby is an Italian pub? Either way, it looks like fun.

When I am flush with currency, I fairly often dine out a lone if I have no plans and don't feel like cooking. It's refreshing.

Its been awhile since I did that go out by myself. I used to Panera Bread order a Chai Latte and just relax. Loved it kinda miss doing that
