First anime

 Which was your first anime ever watched?

Mine was this anime called 'Grander musashi'. It was about a little kid who loved fishing, and used to catch huge fishes in a pond near his place, beating out competetors.  Then came 'You're under arrest', about two lady cops. Then came Fushigi Yuugi/Curious play. 

Was Speed Racer considered an anime? dunno. I remember it was called cartoon not anime.

I need to get to bed soon, its already 10. *sigh*

But the first anime I ever watched was Sailor Moon.

Really? I guess Sailor Moon has been a first anime for a lot of people though.

Unfortunately the only channels to air anime in our country were AXN and cartoon Network... and the broadcast over here didn't include Sailor Moon :( I'm glad they started airing Animax now...

I so remember Grander Musashi. It used to come in AXN. There was this other one called "You're under arrest" or something about female cops. And I would call speed racer anime for sure.

My first anime, however, would be Ninja Robots. It used to come in cartoon Network..

I'm glad somebody remembers Grander musashi!! Yup, it used to come in AXN, I used to watch it in mornings before school. And after that series got over, "You're under arrest" started, and then 'Cuious play'.
Ninja Robots... kyaa! I tried so hard to get the japanese name, but couldn't. that series rocked!! Joe Maya was one of earliest crush *blush*
